PANASONIC’S NEW VEGERATOR LINE UP
A new range of refrigerators that deliver exceptional convenience with advanced cooling and energy saving performance
Kuala Lumpur, 9 October 2008 - Panasonic is introducing a new series of refrigerator that’s energy saving yet gives space saving and convenient usage.
The new range of Vegerator refrigerators incorporates the INTELLIGENT INVERTER or i-INVERTER technology, developed specifically to lower the running cost of such machines giving consumers an advanced and powerful cooling performance that could also save up to 20% in terms of power consumption.
The range of Vegerator refrigerators has four new models with two, four and six-doors types to cater to every household need. They are also equipped with multi-hygienic functions that can eliminate unpleasant odor and inactivate molds and bacteria.
“At Panasonic, we are concerned about rising electricity cost and environmental damage associated with power producing methods. Hence, our i-INVERTER technology is the result of dedicated R&D and Panasonic is the first company in the world to develop and market an inverter-controlled refrigerator,” says Tony Endoh, Managing Director Panasonic Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
“Our i-INVERTER technology has an intelligent sensor that can cleverly detect the changes in temperature due to door opening and closing or the amount of food stored, and by simply adjusting the temperature inside the fridge makes it more efficient and stable which saves energy.”
“The 20% energy consumption saving is certainly a major amount considering that refrigerator is ranked second behind air-conditioner in terms of power consumption among all household appliances. It too represents a small but significant step towards reducing global warming thereby creating a healthier and more sustainable ecological environment”, added Endoh.
The new series of Vegerator is available at all authorized Panasonic dealers nationwide at an affordable price from RM999 to RM6,999. Details are as below.
