Introducing the sleek, stylish and safe Panasonic Electric Home Shower “Esen” series
Kuala Lumpur, 9 October 2008 – In October 2004, Panasonic revolutionized the conventional rectangle design of Electric Home Shower with the introduction of slim design SLIM7 series.
The slim design concept complemented new lifestyles and new bathroom concepts. Since then, this new design with only 7cm thin profile has become the standard for other Electric Home Shower manufacturers.
Being the market leader with 42% market share, Panasonic is introducing a brand new Electric Home Shower series that is going to set a new design trend in the industry - The new Esen series! “E” is the acronym for Elegant and Efficient, while Sen is spring water in Japanese.
The 17cm sleek longitudinal shaped body form stresses the qualities of space, roominess, comfort, practical and elegance while staying true to the concept of compact to complement any bathroom interior.
Through use of Fluidic Technology, the new improved 3-way shower head structure provides 20% stronger shower force for an overall more satisfactory shower sensation compared to previous 6-way shower head.
The Antibacterial coating Ag+ Crystal on the shower plate inhibits bacteria growth up to 99%. This reduces the need for frequent cleaning and offers easy maintenance of shower head plate. (*This is certified by Japan Synthetic Textile Inspection, Institute Foundation.)
Esen series comes with many safety features on top of its stylish and sleek design. It gives an invigorating and enjoyable shower experience without compromising on safety.
There are 9 safety features incorporated into the Esen series:
1) Water Flow Sensor that automatically switches off the shower when there is no
water supply or if the water flow rate is less than 0.9 liter per minute
2) Automatic Thermal Cut-off maintains the output temperature below 55oC. In the
event the output temperature exceeds 550C, the Auto-Reset Thermostat will be activated
3) Manual Reset Thermostat will be activated if the temperature exceeds 75oC and
the Automatic Thermal Cut-off did not function
4) Copper Heater Unit that is leak-proof and more durable
5) One Push On-Off Switch that switches off both main power and water supply
directly
6) Built-in Earth Leakage Breaker (ELCB) automatically stops the operation within
0.05 seconds when electric current leakage exceeds the recommended standard of 15 milli-ampere (mA)
7) Water Splash Proof case to avoid water from splashing into the unit.
8) Non Flammable Material that is non-combustible and self-extinguishing in case of
fire
9) Insulated Structure with no metal parts exposed to prevent electric shock

There are 4 exciting Esen models to choose. The DH-3HP1M and DH-3HP2M come with a built-in pump and is priced at RM 559 and RM 579 respectively for West Malaysia and RM 569 and RM 589 respectively for East Malaysia.
Models DH-3HD1M and DH-3HE1M which give a massaging feeling while showering, are priced at RM 509 and RM 449 respectively for West Malaysia and in East Malaysia, they are priced at RM 519 and RM 459 respectively.
The leading SLIM7 series model DH-3FS2M, comes in 3 pastel colours (Pink, Blue and White) and is priced at RM 339 for West Malaysia and RM 349 for East Malaysia.
The model DH-3FT2M, equipped with the Electronic Temperature Control, comes in Elegant Red, Blue and White at a price of RM 359 for West Malaysia and in East Malaysia it is priced at RM 369. The basic pump model DH-3EP3M is priced at RM 539 in West Malaysia and RM 549 in East Malaysia.
