Kuala Lumpur, 9 October 2008 - Panasonic presents its latest 3rd generation range of washing machines designed to save energy cost and which, combining the new Aquabeat Plus and Foam Wash with AG Crystal Shower, can disinfect by suppressing bacterial growth by 99.99% and also deodorize clothes while washing.

Thanks to our latest range of automatic washing machine models, that is equipped with the zero standby power consumption with a brand new design that is a smart fit with today’s contemporary lifestyle.
Nowadays, everybody complains about high energy prices. A lot of people are not aware of the standby electricity which is the energy consumed by appliances when leaving them “idle” in standby mode. This electricity wastage and the associated cost are not high enough to get the attention of the end users. But when such power wastage of all homes is aggregated at the level of a country, the amount becomes significant and cannot be ignored.

Tony Endoh added that, “Our new Aquabeat Plus washing machine with AG Crystal Shower feature has an AG Ion Generator built in. This generator contains highly concentrated AG crystal material, which releases a high concentration of AG ions as water passes through it. To ensure that clothes are sufficiently penetrated by AG ions, AG water is sprinkled over clothes twice during the last rinsing process. After the wash is completed, the clothes are totally devoid of bacteria¹ and unpleasant odor.”
“Clothes that are coated with AG ions, do not leave any odor or unpleasant smell even if you perspire or if it is dried indoors, especially for those staying in high-rise apartments or condominiums. The anti-bacterial effect of AG ions also works to prevent the growth of black mold in the tub by using the Tub Hygiene Course that eliminates moisture in the tub through the hygiene function and fan dry operation.”
The merits of AG ions and its effectiveness have been given the stamp of approval by authorizing laboratories².
“Our new Aquabeat Plus washing machine’s innovative triple motion water flow gives 20% more washing performance and minimizes damage to fabrics compared to the previous model. This unique feature is made available only by Panasonic and is Japan patented³. Moreover, this new Aquabeat Plus series is also equipped with a dynamic Spin and Scrub combination. Its pulsator now has a more powerful rotating force which results in a more powerful turn wash. The inner sides of the tub features Twin Scrub Wash Board surface. This enhances the squeezing effect of the agitation for better washing performance.”
Clothes will not be well cleaned without having the lint filter to trap the lint. Panasonic’s Twin Lint Filter has an antibacterial coating to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungus. Its newly improved design increases its filtration up to 10%. Now, you can say good bye to unwanted lint adhering to your clothes!
This new Aquabeat Plus washing machine series comes in 10 models. There are two fully automatic user friendly models with AG Crystal Shower (available in 8kg and 9kg). This AG Crytal Shower feature enables to suppress bacterial growth and unpleasant odors for a super clean wash.
In addition to the AG Crystal Shower feature, our 12kg and 13kg models comes with outer water filter to ensure a beautifully clean finish. This boosts washing efficiency further, eliminating the worry of white clothes to turn yellowish.
